Greetings from the members of the Wisconsin Consortium on Promoting Stay at Work and Return to Work!
The first post-Wisconsin Summit "action group" meeting is coming up on Thursday, November 13 at CUNA Mutual from 11 am-2 pm (at 5810 Mineral Point Road, the same location where we held the Summit.
At this meeting, we will hear from any of the groups who have been working on "actions steps" since the Summit, further refine what we'd like to accomplish in Wisconsin, and decide what the next steps should be to do that.
If you were unable to attend the October 8th-9th Summit, but are interested in becoming involved, please consider attending this followup event. It's a great opportunity for contribution and participation!
If you did attend the Summit, please keep in mind, you don't have to stay with the "group" assignment which you had for the Summit. Those were somewhat arbitrary divisions into workgroups for the purposes of covering all of the 16 recommendations from the ACOEM white paper while keeping the groups a "workable" size.
Depending on what we decide needs doing, we will be forming new committees/groups to move forward on those things. So, if you weren't in a group where you felt you could best use your knowledge, experience, and talents, you're not going to have to "stick" to that. We will be meeting as one large group from 11am-2pm and will decide at that time what groups or committees to form, and you will be able to choose which one/ones you'd like to be on.
